Day 3 - feeding lesson
Didn't take much photo today coz' daddy was learning how to feed Matt Matt. Apparently Matt is really nice on daddy as he seldom gets angry even when papa is not feeding him right. Daddy spent an hour to feed 30ml which won't be successful without mammy's help (omg)!! Matt did "burp" some out later on (I guess at least 5 ml). Sorry Matt Matt and mommy, 辛苦啦!

My 1st B&W film experience
It has been a long time since I have filled up this blog with my testing shots. I am just too busy to update or practice my photo shooting skill. Is time to pick it up now.
Recently I am drawn into manual film photography. This should be the starting point for all amateurs as this could train us to do what all auto machines had done: focusing, metering, aperture setting etc... I can finally learn what the real deal is afterall.
Check out these B&W. My first attempt so they are definitely overexposed.

Canon 24 - 70 f2.8 Test Shots
I've finally made the decision to switch to Canon and wait for its full frame body (Nikon D3 is out, but it is just too pricy!) So I trade my Nikon 17-55 f2.8 for this Canon's 24 - 70 f2.8 L. I think it is just as sharp as my Nikon, and in some extent out performed it! I just need to save up enough for a cheaper 2nd hand 5D now...

Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi Canon EF 24 - 70 f2.8 L
1/25 sec f2.8 @ 24mm, iso 100
(Sorry, some hand shake...)

Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi Canon EF 24 - 70 f2.8 L
1/100 sec f3.5 @ 68mm, iso 400
(I like Nikon's outdoor capability better than Canon, but Canon is for sure less saturated! And again, some unstable hands while driving...)

Burrard Bridge - Mid Summer
Finally I have time to dig out some of the old pictures I took during summer (as a great contrast to the gloomy weather we are experiencing now). This is a pre-fireworks teaser on English Bay. The day was so gorgeous that the blue sky reflected clearly how dirty my lens was.

Celebration of Lights 2007 - China
Here comes the fireworks photos again. This time I took them @ Vanier Park instead. The background has more to decorate the picture, only if I can get it tack sharp with a remote!! hahaha. o well, it is a nice exercise again!
China really outdone Canada man! So nice! Especially the one on the side to accompany the big one in the last couple of fireworks. It is so grand. At least I enjoyed this more than the Canada one!
